Christine has worked as a consultant since 1995 with a variety of food companies, identifying opportunities to increase throughputs, cut costs, reduce waste and add value through the development of new ways of working and staff training. She joined RMIF in 2006 and helped the red meat supply chain take advantage of the recently opened export markets and better utilise the 5th quarter. In 2009 she joined AHDB/MLCSL and delivered supply chain improvement projects for EBLEX, QMS, WRAP and the FSA.
She has worked with Harper Adams, Cranfield, Cambridge and Nottingham Universities on the production of management training programmes including the Pg Cert and Pg Dip for Meat Business Management and the Fellowship of Meat Management as well as delivering on courses for the wider manufacturing industry.
In 2016 she became MD of MLCSL providing carcase classification services to red meat abattoirs. During the three years in post she returned the organisation to profitability and enabled AHDB sell the business into the private sector returning financial benefits to the levy payers.
