Sparsholt College is a specialist land-based college with a 400-acre farm and estate including a dairy, beef and pig unit, and 250 sheep. It has its own game, wildlife and butchery centre, fully equipped for all aspects of game rearing and meat processing.
Delivered at Sparsholt campus on a day-release basis for 18-24 months. Apprentices will complete a Level 2 Butchery qualification, alongside Level 2 Awards in Food Safety, Health & Safety in the Food Supply Chain, and Knife Skills.
The final 3-month period will prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment with workplace visits and a final week of block-release at College.
