Level 2 Butcher Apprenticeship Standard
Students will train in our unique Smithfield Butchery Unit using high-quality resources to gain high-level butchery skills. A key aspect of the course is bringing customer satisfaction to the forefront of butchery practice and our expert butchers are on hand to demonstrate special techniques preparing students for future employment after the course.
Students that have completed their apprenticeship at the College have gone to work in independent butcher shops, retail chains, catering, meat wholesaling and supermarket butchery departments with the opportunity to progress into a supervisory or management post.
